OKEECHOBEE - Patricia Ann Woods Hardin of Okeechobee passed away Dec. 24, 2012 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Pat was born on Dec. 3, 1942 to the late Leslie Walter Woods and Retha Jane Woods in Anmoore, West Virginia. She was the youngest of ten children. Pat spent most of her adult years working in the medical field and became and LPN. The last 20 of her working years were with Dr.'s Miguel and Leni Espiritu in Okeechobee, FL. She enjoyed traveling with her family and took many trips with her husband through the years. She also enjoyed oil painting, reading and crafts. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Geraldine Summers, Emma Strother and Betty Babbitt and one brother, George Woods. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David E. Hardin; three sons, David E. Hardin II (Colleen) of Lakeport, FL, Robert L. Hardin (Lisa) and Richard D. Hardin (Angie) all of Gainesville, FL; six grandchildren, Brandy Ball of Lakeport, FL, Kayla Hardin of Okeechobee, FL, Whitney Ball of Palm Beach, FL, Erin Hardin, Tyler Hardin both of Gainesville, FL and Logan Hardin of Port Charlotte, FL and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by five siblings, Leslie Dale Woods (Midge) of Bridgeport, WV, Alberta Rollins (Chuck) of AZ, Bill Woods of MI, Helen Vanhorn of PA and Lillian Davisson of WV and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Okeechobee. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made in Patricia Hardin's name to Hospice of Marion County in Ocala, FL.
