PATRICIA "TRISH" ANN RYAN PORTAGE, IN Patricia "Trish" Ann Ryan, age 65, of Portage, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN. She was born to Ernest and Annie (Loggins) Dempsey on June 11, 1947 in Nyota, AL. She married Dennis Ryan on August 10, 2002, who survives of Portage. Trish is survived by her two sons: Eric S. Miller, of Indianapolis, IN, and Jeff (Fadwa) Miller of Chicago, IL; her brother, Bruce (Chris) Dempsey of San Antonio, TX; her sister, Betty Palmer of Portage; three grandchildren: Lucas, Olivia, and Noah; and her beloved dog, Mandy. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave, Portage IN 46368 with Pastor Jesse L. Moore officiating. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the numerous people who touched her life in her final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
