Miller, Patricia AnnDec. 27, 1932 - Feb. 24, 2011Patricia Ann Miller, 78, of Venice, formerly of Champaign-Urbana, Ill. died Feb. 24, 2011.Celebration of Life will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Maxine Barrett Park in Venice. Burial will be later at Sarasota National Cemetery. Survivors include her husband Dale; daughters Pam Bricker, Vicky Preece, Trudy Crocket and Linda Johnson; nine grandchildren Mistie, Donald, Gabriel, Daniell, Nathaniel, Courtney, Brittany, Mason and Mallori; and great-grandchildren Tanner, Travis, Cade, Layne, Jordon, Gabriel, Andrew, Owen, Avery and Trent. A member of South Venice Baptist Church. Patricia was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend to many. She always put others before herself. She was a Venice resident for over 50 years and involved in the Venice Police Women's Auxiliary, Tuesday Bowling League, The Venice Women's Club and a Girl Scout Leader along with many others groups.
