AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Patricia (Pat) Ann Jones of East Watkins Street entered into rest Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church with Bishop Rosa Williams officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. She was native of Emanuel County, Georgia, founder of the Augusta Youth Center in 1984, and a faithful member of the Everfaithful Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are her son, Vincent Bernard McKinney, Conyers, Ga.; 5 grandchildren, Shakina Patrice McKinney, YaVona Janae McKinney, Vincent Bryton McKinney, Shatrice Lewis, and Letrese Freeman; one great-grandchild, LaCheryl Patrice McKinney; 4 brothers, Michael Derrick McKinney, Carl McKinney, Dewayne McKinney, Richard (Edna) Lawrence, all of Summertown, Ga.; 4 sisters, Vickie (Levi) Freeman, Metter, Ga., Mary Sue Kendrix and Jeannette Sherrod, Summertown, Ga., Loretta (Donald) Brown, Waynesboro, Georgia; special friend, Marie Hawkins; a host of nieces, nephews, god-children, other relatives and friends.
