Patricia Ann Hardin, born Feb. 19, 1949, passed away on Dec. 13, 2012, at her family's home in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Belle Cox Hardin and Franklin M. Hardin of Roane County. She is survived by her natural daughter, Danielle d'Gaia, née Hardin. Pat lived most of her life in Knoxville, where she swam competitively for Central High and studied psychology at University of Tennessee. She was a dedicated practitioner of Buddhism for over 40 years, believing it did not contradict her love for the Lord Jesus. Her passion for religion extended to a love of nature and music, traits she passed on to her daughter, along with a collection of comics and records anyone would be proud of.The family plans for a graveside committal service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Kingston Memorial Gardens, just off exit 355 on I-40.
