Patricia Ann Donnelly Smith - Swainsboro -Patricia Ann Donnelly Smith, 59, of Swainsboro, GA on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Smith, a native of Emanuel County, was co-owner and co-operator of Better Built Buildings in Kite, GA. A member of the First Baptist Church and Grace Bible Class, she taught Mission Friends, the Prelude Choir and was actively involved with the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Leon and Lois Harper Donnelly and husband, Wendy Smith. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Polly and Ryan Pepin of Kite, GA; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Shelli Smith of Kite, GA; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Ann Donnelly of Pooler, GA; her mother-in-law, Grace Smith of Swainsboro, GA; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Alivia and Graci-Rae Smith, Ben and Wade Murdock and Daulton and Cade Pepin all of Kite, GA; a special friend, Dr. Bobby Sasser of Swainsboro, GA, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary Thursday evening from 6-8 PM Funeral services are Friday, September 8th , at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Blankenship officiating. Interment will be in Eastbrook Cemetery with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Smith will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers are M. L. Gay, Mark Townsend, Brad Hooks, Tracy Hooks, Jim Mason, Walter Canady, Brice Wilkerson and William Nasworthy. Honorary Escorts are Employees of Better Built Buildings and the Grace Bible Class.
