->Davis, Patricia AnnJohnson City: Patricia Ann Davis, 58, of Johnson City, died Saturday evening, June 25, 2011, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her father, Pete Davis. She is survived by her mother, Rose Davis, Johnson City; her sister, Tina and Bill Root, Rye, NH, and their children, Emily and Tom Colomes, David Root, Adam and Melissa Root; her brother, Michael Davis and Margaret Maguire and son, Patrick; her aunts, Louise Cline, Binghamton, Virginia and Thad Ayer, Charlotte, NC; uncle, Stanley Karibian, Granite City, IL; her cat, "Zoe"; and many cousins. She was a member of the Armenian Women's Guild of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church. She previously worked as a phlebotomist at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and for Dr. Lloyd Fassett and was currently employed at Northeastern Plate Glass Co. of Binghamton. She was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School. Patty will always be remembered and celebrated for her joy of life and very special bonds of love and friendship that she formed with everyone who knew her. She fought valiantly through long-term leukemia. Patty loved to garden, cook, read, gab and shop. She was an inspiration to all of us for her courage and undaunted spirit. She was a constant reminder of the preciousness of life.Funeral services will be held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, 12 Corbett Avenue, Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Father Daniel Karadjian will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Patty may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
