Mrs. Carter served in the Navy. She is survived by a brother, Harold Mullinax of Florida; five sisters: Elsie Alexander of Easley, Janie Wilderspin of Greer, Myrtle Holloway of Pelzer, Tefusha Drake of Piedmont and Eleanor Barbrey of Greenville.A memorial service will be held on May 17, 2014 at Old Fashioned Baptist Church on State Park Rd. There will be a visitation from 1-3 with the family and a service will follow.
