October 11, 2012 Patricia A. (McCarthy) Miller died October 11, 2012, with loving family at her side. Patricia was employed by Aerofin Corporation and received an honorary award from that company for her long and dedicated years of service. She moved to Lynchburg, Virginia, to continue her career with Aerofin when they relocated there and remained in Virginia for several years, returning to the Syracuse area upon her retirement. She will be missed for her outgoing and generous nature and for the joy she took in living. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Miller; two brothers, Richard and John McCarthy; and her sister, Irene Annese. She is survived by her nieces, Mary Annese (Roy Sahali), Kathleen Annese, Cynthia Annese, Patricia Annese (Ross Amstey) and Ashlie Recore (Hank); nephews John, Sean (Susan) and Michael McCarthy; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. A calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, at Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m., following calling hours. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
