PELHAM -- Patricia A. (McDermott) Harrington, 64, a Pelham resident who was a secretary at a local company, died Friday morning, Sept. 23, at her home, surrounded by her family and close friends. She was the wife of John H. Harrington, who died in 1985.She was born in Lowell, Sept. 18, 1941, daughter of the late James and Mildred (Rivers) McDermott. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1959.She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham.Before retiring, Mrs. Harrington was a secretary for BAE Systems in Nashua.She loved traveling to the Far East and Europe, and enjoyed cooking and playing golf.She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, John C. and Deborah Harrington of Falmouth, Scott M. and Lori Harrington of Pelham, Douglas C. and Lori Harrington, residing in California, and Kevin J. Harrington of Marlboro; six grandchildren, Casey Beth, Jack J., and Jamie Lynn Harrington, all of Pelham, John C. and Seth Kenneth Harrington, both of Falmouth, and Bryce N. Harrington, residing in California; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James McDermott of Lowell, and Paul and Madeline Barris, residing in New Jersey; three sisters, Sheila McDermott and Kathy McDermott, both of Tyngsboro, and Colleen McDermott of Pelham; her companion, William Ayotte of Pelham; and many nieces and nephews.She was also sister of the late Maureen Prim.
