McLEAN, Pat Patricia J. (nee Murphy) R.N. - On Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 at Versa Care in St. Catharines at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Frederick, daughter Maureen, and parents Frank and Janet Murphy. Loving mother of Joseph (Catherine) of Fonthill, Mark (Michele) of Kitchener, Sharon (David) Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Patti Sawyer of Thorold. Dear grandmother of Joseph, Christopher, Lindsay, Matthew, Micaela and Nathan. Great grandmother of Kayla, Kerry Ann and Carter. Also predeceased by her brothers Joseph (Marie) Murphy and John (late Mary) Murphy. Pat was a member of the Thorold Seniors and the Graduate Nurses Association. Special thanks to the Staff at Versa Care for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (21 Queen St. S., Thorold) on Wednesday, March 4th at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. 11428224
