-->Pat N. Hall WOODRUFF, SC-- Patricia Ann "Pat" Nix Hall, 67, a resident of Woodruff and Orange Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. A native of Enoree, she was born February 18, 1940 to the late John and Loree Hughes Nix. She was a Christian and grew up in the Enoree Church of God. She was a lifetime and very active member of the Ladies Auxillary to the VFW Post 7909 and district six where she was past president. She received many awards for her voluntary service. Her primary efforts revolved around Operation Uplink and Cancer and aide research. Mrs. Hall attended Woodruff High School and has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Australia while supporting her husband's Navy career for 34 years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife and a true friend to all. Surviving are her husband of 50 years; Allen Eugene "Gene" Hall of the home; one daughter, Teresa Apperson and her husband Bull of Roswell, Georgia; two sons, Duane Hall and his wife Ellen of Lexington, SC and Michael Hall and his wife Stacie of Orange Park, FL; three sisters, Eloree Channels of Vineland, NJ, Annie Ree Morrow and Amy Ree Wyatt, both of Woodruff; one brother, Toy Nix of Winnsboro, SC; eight grandchildren; two step-grand children and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Carrol Caldwell. A private entombment will be held at Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2008 from 1:30-2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Uplink, 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64111 or The Center for Movement Disorders, 710 West 168th Street, New York, NY 10032.
