MURPHY _ Pat (Bernice Alberta). Born March 24, 1925 in Lethbridge, Alberta died Thursday, December 18th, 2002. Predeceased by her parents William Murphy in 1951 and Josephine Murphy in 1979 and by her sister Mary Costello in 1987. Survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Bud) and Mary, Frank and Jean, Cal and Joyce and Louis and Pat and by her sister and brother-in-law Josie and Norbert Benz and many nephews and nieces in Canada and in the United States. Pat lived in Vancouver since 1939, she graduated from Little Flower Academy. Her last years were clouded by the onset of Alzheimers disease. Her family has appreciated the kind care she received at Youville Care and special friendships of Thea Houwers and Bahya Zarefa. Prayers will be held Sunday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 23 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Peters and Paul Church, 1425 W. 38th Avenue, Vancouver.
