Pastor Ruby Davis - SAVANNAH - Pastor, Ruby Davis, 79, passed away at home on October 8, 2007 after a short illness. She was a native of Pierce County, GA, but lived in Savannah for the last 39 years. She retired from Holiday Inn. She was the Pastor of New Greater Owens Temple where she served faithfully until her health failed. She also served as a Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Executive Presbyterian Board. She was the assistant Pastor to the former Bishop O. Harden. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, James Davis; six daughters, Rene Putney, Millie Washington (Luther), Gloria Reynolds, Brenda Allen (Leroy), Jackie Harper (Daryl), and Sandra Alexander (Robert); a brother, Emanuel Daniels (Sue); sister-in-law, Hattie Williams; thirty four grands; fifty seven great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
