CATHERINE JOANN ANDERSON "Cat" Passed away December 8, 2002 just six weeks after her beloved husband, Walker, who died October 23, 2002. They had been married 48 years and their story is one of true love and devotion. She is survived by her four loving children: Sheila, Walker, Sandra, and Pamela Anderson; three grandchildren: Marlena, Eric, and Briana Anderson; daughter-in-law, Marian Anderson, seven brothers: Ovid Miller (Bertha), Riviera Beach, Robert Gibson (Dean), Port St. Lucie, Alfred Gibson (Edna), Orlando, Samuel Gibson, Ocala, Donald Gibson (Pearline), West Palm Beach, Ronald Gibson (Joan), Riviera Beach, and Thomas Gibson, Miami; seven sisters: Mary Foster, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Frances Gibson, Riviera Beach, Elrock Butler (Robert), WPB, Audrey Clayton (Morris): Tunis Turnquest, Riviera Beach, Carolyn Washington (Oscar), WPB, and Dorothy Horton, Nassau, Bahamas; two aunts: Francis Davis, Chicago, IL, and Clothilda Orange, Riviera Beach; godmother, Aurelia Major, Miami; brothers-in-law: Joseph Anderson, and Harry Anderson, Los Angeles, CA; sisters-in-law: Deborah Gibson, Atlanta, GA, Kathleen Williams, RPB; Cheryl Gibson, Ocala, and Gwen Gibson, Lake Park; close friends: Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Geraldine Lackey, Gus Edmundson, and Lamar Franklin, Altadena, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her mother, Nolan Miller Gibson; fathers: Robert A. Gibson and Henry Ferguson; and brothers: Hubert Gibson, Henry Ferguson, Gratlin Gibson, and Arnold Gibson. The viewing will be held Friday, December 13th from 5 - 7 PM at Mountain View Mortuary, 2400 N. Fair Oaks, Altadena, CA 91001.
