Pamela S. Kent SchenectadyPamela Sue Kent, 44, passed away Monday morning, September 1st, 2014 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. She was the beloved mother of her three children, Kaiya Kent of Schenectady, Tristen Jarvis of Niskayuna and Christopher Macken of Colonie. Pam was the daughter of Nina and Kenneth Kent of Payson, Arizona and Goshen, New York; survived by brother, Eric Kent of San Jose, California. Pamela is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends and acquaintances. Pamela served as a hardworking, dedicated employee and eventual manager to Colonie/Albany's local convenience stores. She also worked at South Colonie Central High School, preparing lunches for many of the students. Pam was a very talented clarinetist who loved gardening, the outdoors and cooking for her family and friends, who she loved very much. There will be an informal Celebration of Life service held at the Church of St. Clare at 1947 Central Avenue, Albany, NY 12205, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with the opportunity to share personal memories, experiences and time with the family until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 5th.
