May 25,1932 - August 8,2013It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mom. Trish passed away peacefully in Victoria Hospice at the age of 81. Predeceased by husband Fred, survived by their five children Bryan (Tammy), Paul, Karen (Dan), Lynne (Jerry), Kim (Damiao) and her sister Shelagh in England, Nana to 11 grandchildren. Mom was born and raised in Cornwall, England and trained as a RN in Birmingham. After her training Mom accepted a position in St Johns, Newfoundland where she met Dad, they were married in England on January 18, 1958. They returned to Toronto to start a family. Dad moved us to Victoria in 1974, where Mom worked for the Sisters of St. Ann's and James Bay Lodge as head nurse on the 2nd floor. Mom had a great sense of humor and loved to tell us stories from her childhood. Mom enjoyed the garden, shopping and spending time with her family. Mom always took the good with the bad and had a "just get on with it" way about her. Mom is dearly loved and will be sadly missed.A memorial will be held for close family and friends. TBA.
