PAMELA MAY BROOKS-WILLIAMS Pamela May Brooks-Williams, 71, of Lake Placid, took her place beside the Lord Friday, January 18, 2008. She died at Florida Hospital in Lake Placid. Pam was born to Ms. May and Frederick Cripps July 19, 1936, in England. She came to the states when she was 21 after establishing a career in the medical industry at Aylesbury Hospital in Aylesbury, England. Pam would continue that path working as an emergency medical technician in New Jersey and later served with the State of Florida at the correctional facility in Lantana and Belle Glades. From 2003-2003, she worked at Rosewood Care in Lake Placid and her most recent employment was lending herself to private home care in Highlands County. Pam and her husband came to the Lake Placid in 2000 from West Palm Beach. Pam was a member of the Anglican Church in England. Pam is survived by her husband, Julian, whom she married November 15, 1985, in West Palm Beach; children, Shirley (Gordon) Wicker of Thornhurst, Pa., Cynthia (Michael) Powers of Port Reading, N.J.; and siblings, Michael Cripps and Iris Day, both of England. Pam was blessed with six grandchildren. Memorial services celebrating the life of Pamela May Brooks-Williams will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, at Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home. The Rev. Elizabeth Myers of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Lake Placid will celebrate. Memorial arrangements are under the loving devotion of Michael A.
