Pamela Blythe Brown SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Pamela Blythe Brown, 50, died Thursday, August 30, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Anel Blythe and Jessie Blythe Brannon. Mrs. Brown was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 15, 1962. She served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1984 with an honorable discharge. Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Jamaal Brown of Spartanburg, SC; four sisters, Zarita Blythe, Terri Williams, and Rosalind Brown, all of Spartanburg, SC and Anita Withrow of Raleigh, NC; five brothers, Michael Blythe of Spartanburg, SC, Andre (Leslie) Blythe of Columbus, GA, Patrick (Wanda) Blythe of Charlotte, NC, William D. Blythe of Columbia, SC, Percy Cash of Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Joe (Josephine) Patton, III of Greenwood, SC; Mrs. Brown was predeceased by one sister, Margie Hughes. In addition she is survived by three grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of her sister, Terri Williams, 1189 Lawson Street, Spartanburg, SC. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
