MILLER, Phyllis Ayers, 78, aresident of Montgomery, AL,went to be with her Lord andSavior on Friday, February 5,2010. Phyllis Miller was born inFt. Payne, AL on July 24, 1931and grew up in Auburn andMontgomery. She was agraduate of Judson College -a true ""Judson Girl""- and wasa long-time member of Dalraida Baptist Church. She waspreceded in death by herparents, Dr. Hoyt A. Ayers andVernie G. Ayers, and her husband of 38 years, WilliamWise Miller. Survivors includetwo daughters, Cindi Millerand Janet (Ken) Jones; oneson, Mike (Tammy) Miller; fivegrandchildren, Ryan, Caroline, Tillery, Sam and Sims;one sister, Camillah A. (G.L.)Burnett; one brother Henry N.(Tina) Ayers. She was a lovingwife, mother, grandmother,sister and friend, and a sweetand gentle soul. We will cherish her memory. Pallbearerswill be Ryan Miller, SamJones, Sims Miller, MichaelEtheredge, Robert Taylor andPat Draughon. Honorary pallbearers will be the CarolynPhelps Sunday School Classof Dalraida Baptist Church,Greg McMillan and PhilFranklin. Memorials may bemade to Dalraida BaptistChurch. Funeral services willbe held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 fromDalraida Baptist Church withRev. Rick Evans officiating.Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
