WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Paul Byne Williams, entered into rest on Friday, July 26, 2013 at University Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Franklin Covenant Baptist Church, Hephzibah, Ga. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and retiree from Richmond County School System and member of the Golden Trumpets gospel quartet. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wilhelmenia Williams. Preceded in death by his son, Lenton J. Williams. Remaining survivors are; daughter, Veronica L. (Christopher) Rogers, Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Philpot, Waynesboro, Ga., Gianna M. Rogers, Augusta, Ga.; brother, Pastor George A. (Pauline) Williams, Augusta, Ga.; sisters, Lottie L. Bryant, Augusta, Ga., and Gloria Brayboy, Atlanta, Ga.
