LAKELAND -- Mr. Paul Williams of Lakeland died of lung failure Thursday (Aug. 17, 2006) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 71.Born Aug. 14, 1935, in Lakeland, Mr. Williams moved to Lakeland from Rabun Gap, Ga., in 2005. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He worked for Federal Aviation Authority for more than 27 years. He attended Kathleen Baptist Church.Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary E. Williams; daughters, Jacqui Schley, Goose Creek, S.C., Amy Bolick, Liburn, Ga.; brothers, Fred Williams, Pensacola, Ben Williams, Bradenton; sister, Elaine Mott, Lakeland; and seven grandchildren.Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Kathleen Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
