PATRICK MARTIN KEEFE - ST. ALBANS - Patrick passed away suddenly, after a tragic car accident in Colchester, on Dec. 3, 2011, on his way to work in Essex. Patrick was born a miracle child to Kevin and Peggy Keefe on Nov. 8, 1988, in Tucker, Ga. He fought for his life in the first couple of days, overcoming numerous obstacles and impressing many. With many prayers and much support, Patrick came through it all and was able to live an amazing twenty-three years. He grew up in Atlanta, Ga., loving to play baseball, to go fishing and boy scouting. Patrick moved to Vermont with his family in 2001, where he loved to play football, to play the drums and weightlift with his father. Patrick also enjoyed fishing and going to the shooting range with his father and friends. Patrick graduated from BFA High School in 2007 and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Johnson State College in 2011. No matter what, Patrick was always happy as long as he was spending time with his family and friends. Patrick is survived by his wife, Lindsay Nicole Keefe (Ploof) and his parents, Kevin and Peggy Keefe of St. Albans; sister, Kelly and brother-in-law, Jeff Taylor; sister, Kerry Thuman and Steven Sager; niece, Abbey Thuman and nephews, John and Jackson Taylor; and beloved sister-in-law, Maegan Ploof. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Patricia Parmenter. He is also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends who played very important roles in his life. Patrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francis and Dina Keefe; his maternal grandfather, Foyle Parmenter; and his mother-in-law, Kimberly Ploof. The visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Brady & Levesque Funeral Home in St. Albans from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at The First Baptist Church on Congress Street.
