Obituary of Patricia-Wood Carter

Patricia Wood Carter, died at Blue Ridge Nursing Center on Saturday, February 7, 2004 in Stuart, VA. She was 56. Born on June 26, 1947 in New Rochelle, NY to Jack Wood and Annie Deshazo Wood. Mrs. Carter married Donald Dwight Carter. She was a resident of Ridgeway, VA for 11 years. Mrs. Carter was employed by Super 8 Motel. She is survived by her husband, Donald D. Carter; her mother, Annie D. Wood of New Rochelle, NY; two sisters: Donna Taylor of Atlanta, GA and Melisa Harridge of Queens, NY; two sons: Anthony Brogdon and Theodore Brogdon, both of New Rochelle, NY; one brother, Nicholas Wood of New Rochelle, NY; two sisters: Mary Ann Wood and Frances Wood, both of New Rochelle, NY and ten grandchildren.She was predeceased by her father, Jack Wood and a sister, Doris Massey. The family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at other times. Visitation 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services Thursday 1 pm at Morning Star Holy Church, with Rev. Tyler Millner officiating. Burial, Martin Family Cemetery, Axton, VA.
