Patricia Fallon Baker, 80, of Ascot Lane and former Tupper Lake and Pelham Manor resident, died on Monday, February 27, 2006 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was born on May 31, 1925 in Pittsfield, MA and was the daughter of the late Francis and Iola Ackhart Fallon. She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the Manhattanville College in NYC where she received her Bachelors degree as a registered nurse. She was the beloved wife of John G. Baker, MD whom she married on Jan. 27, 1951. In later years, she lived and worked as a nurse with her husband in his OB/GYN practice in Canton and Potsdam. Before moving to Niskayuna, Mrs. Baker and her husband had retired to Tupper Lake in 1993. Earlier she and her husband raised their family in Pelham Manor, NY for about 16 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Pelham Manor and also was a member of their Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Pelham Country Club and enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and bowling. Mrs. Baker, while a resident of Tupper Lake, had been member of St. Alphonsus Church. Mrs. Baker had a great love of the Adirondacks and also enjoyed the seashore. She is the devoted mother of Johanna C. (Gary) Baker of NYC, Maura E. Baker of Willington, CT and Andrew F. (Pamela) Baker of Clifton Park; sister of the late Richard Fallon; cherished grandmother of Molly and Kaitlin Baker both of Clifton Park. Funeral Services will be private.
