Obituary of Patricia-Ann Carter

Patricia Ann Carter of Virginia Beach, Virginia entered into the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, Sunday morning, February 28, 2010. "Trisha" is predeceased by her daughter, Talisha Legano and her parents, Barbara Passmore and Dewight Galloway. Trisha exhibited the love of the Lord to everyone she met and within minutes of meeting a stranger was a friend to all. Her love for and devotion to her Lord were clearly evident. Throughout her long twenty-year battle with brain cancer, she never allowed her illness to deter her ministry in the Lord's name. Trisha is survived by her devoted husband, John W. Carter; daughter, Tina Berryhill and two grandsons, Andrew and Alexander Clark of Greenville, South Carolina; brother, Russell Cox and other extended family members. Viewing will be at Altmeyer Funeral Home on Greenwich Road in Virginia Beach, on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 6pm - 8pm. Funeral Service at Bayside Baptist church on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 am with Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the Benevolent Fund or the Family Life Center of Bayside Baptist church. The family has entrusted Altmeyer Funeral Home with funeral arrangements.
