ORADELL &#8212; Patricia A. (Leahy) Smith, 88, formerly of Farmingdale, Long Island, died on Dec. 28. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church in Oradell, where she was a member of the Shawl Ministry and the Cornerstone. She is survived by her children, Patricia M. Guzas, Corinne M. Heinke, Michael J. Haley, Timothy P. Haley and Eileen M. Haley; her stepchildren, Charles J. Smith, Robert W. Smith, Linda A. Smith, Arlene A. Smith, Jeffrey A. Smith and Dennis M. Smith; her 16 grandchildren; and her 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles W. Smith and Michael J. Haley. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3 from the funeral home, then to St. Joseph's RC Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
