Hartwell - Owen R. Morris, 80, of Hartwell, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Services will be 3pm, Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Interment in church cemetery. Survivors include wife, Mary Brown Morris; daughter, Lynn Verdery, Cornelia, Lauren Hudson, Lawrenceville; son, Dr. C. Van Morris, Athens. Strickland Funeral Home, Hartwell, has charge of arrangements.
