MICHAUD, Ovide On May 21, 2005, Mr. Ovide Michaud of St. Paul, formerly of Mallaig, passed away at the age of 88 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Helene; 6 sons and 2 daughters, Hector, Robert (Shirley), Lucien (Blanche), Guy (Annabelle) Denis (Debby), Gerry (Cathy), Eva (Val) Joly, Georgette (Ron) Lafond; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Alphonse (Helene); 2 brothers-in-law, Leo Dechaine and Robert Giguere; 4 sisters-in-law, Helene, Laurette, Madeleine and Aurore; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Paul-Jean and Raymond; his parents, Jean-Baptiste and Rose; 4 brothers, Aime, Omer, Ted and Georges; 4 sisters, Emelda, Angeline, Alice and Therese. Prayer Service Wednesday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral, St Paul. Reverend Father E. Croteau will be the celebrant with interment in St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mallaig.
