DAVIS, Otis Glenn, 66, of Tampa, was reunited with the Lord and his parents on May 14, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and enjoyed life, and lived life to its fullest. He was the owner operator of; W.W. Welding Inc., a skill that was taught to him by his father. Along with his expert welding skills he also possessed the finest touch of a skilled jeweler, repairing and creating jewelry for others. Otis was preceded in death by his loving parents, Otis H. Davis and Virue "Bimma" Davis; son, Michael G. Davis; brother, Buddy L. Davis. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 24 years, Jeanne Davis; children, Cheryl, Buddy, Chris and Mandie; step-son, Michael Vaughn; brother, Bobby; and sister, Wanda Haya; 6 grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Otis had a special charm; he was quick with a joke and was always there for others before himself. He never met a stranger and touched the lives of so many. Otis had an uplifting spirit, an instant friend to all who met him. Otis simply enjoyed life! Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 3:00 P.M., burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
