WELLS Otha Mae Wells, age 88, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Thursday, January 20, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Dublin, Ga., she was a resident of Bridgeport for twenty years. She was formerly employed with St. Vincent's Hospital as an OR Technician. Otha was a member of East End Baptist Tabernacle where she formerly served as a senior usher and on the senior choir. She leaves to cherish her memory her stepson, Alexander Wells of AK; daughter, Joanne Perkins-Shirley of Bridgeport; one grandson, William Davis, two granddaughters, Sonja Davis and Keenya Wheeler and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday 11a.m. at East End Baptist Tabernacle, 548 Central Avenue, Bridgeport, with Rev. Dr. C.L. Stallworth Pastor, officiating. Interment is private.
