Oscar "Marion" Williams, 94, departed for his heavenly home on Sept. 15, 2008. He was a native of Newton Grove, N.C., but had resided in Glencoe with his daughter, Lynda (Vince) Whittington, for the last few years. Two other daughters live in North Carolina. His Alabama grandchildren are Teresa (Ken) Blakney, Glencoe, Mark (Michele) Whittington, Uriah, and Kristie Watson, Glencoe. Great-grandchildren are Sarah and Rebecca Blakney, Noah, Grace and Melody Whittington, Jonathan Williams and Matthew Watson.Mr. William's funeral and burial will be in North Carolina.
