Oree Willie Carter, of 1820 Rutland Ave., formerly of Easley, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at Hospice of Blue Ashe in Cincinnati. Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Reese and Mary Hunter Brookins. Survivors: Daughters, Vivian M. Holloway of Detroit and Orginia Lucille Craig of Cincinnati; a sister, Melinda Crouch, of Greenville; brothers, Hollie and Winthrow Brookins, both of Easley; and 11 grandchildren.
