Claxton - Ora Lee Barrow Jones, 74, died Friday, January 17, 2003 at her home in Bellville. The Evans County native was a member of the Good Shepherds Lutheran Church in Garden City, and a past member of the Homemakers Club and the Garden Club. Survivors: her mother, Lillian Barrow of Metter; one son, Jimmy Jones of Houston, TX; three daughters, Connie Barsh of Martinez, Harriet Strickland of Houston, TX, and Bonnie Booth of Rincon; an uncle, Ernest Mosley of Metter; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and several nieces. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Old Anderson Church Cemetery.
