OPAL M.MITCHELL, 94 LAKELAND - Opal M. Mitchell, 94, of Lakeland and Tampa, passed away on March 9, 2008 of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Mitchell and a daughter, Alva Josephine Blair. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Pipkins and Sandra Kelley; a son Steven; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Louise Davis. Mrs. Mitchell was a Baptist by faith. Friends may visit at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, Tampa, on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
