It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Olive Erickson, late of Barrhead, formerly of Peavine on June 1, 2017, at the age of 96 years. she is survived by her loving family; children; Judy (Gil) Shirley of Vernon, David (Donna) Erickson of Barrhead, Russell (Brenda) Erickson of Barrhead, grandchildren; David (Donna) and Kevin (Hope) Meier, Duane (Jen) and Dale (Eva) Erickson, Mitchel (Meagan) Erickson, step-grandchildren; Coralee (Kevin) McMann, Ashley (Lee) Fluet, Jason Stone (Sherri), Deana Foerster, Damon Shirley, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Olive is predeceased by her loving husband, Harry, grandchildren; Gail & Garry Erickson, parents, Eustace & Emily (Gladys) Reddish, good friend, Ron Padget. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, Visitation at 1 p.m. and the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at the Barrhead United Church with Rev. David Pype officiating. Interment will follow in the Peavine Cemetery. Donations gratefully accepted to Peavine Cemetery, Sangudo Cemetery or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
