MOUNT DESERT - Olive Louise Dawson, 84, wife of the late David L. Dawson Sr., died Jan. 18, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. Louise was born, Nov. 15, 1926, in Brighton, Mass., the daughter of Ernest and Olive Petermann. Louise retired after 20 years of managing U.S. Coast Guard Exchange Group, Southwest Harbor. She is survived by her three children, Dianne, June and David Jr.; and pets, Sophie and Shadow. She will be greatly missed by all. Louise will be buried in the spring at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, with her husband, David.
