TUSCALOOSA | Olive Gean Peters, age 85, of Tuscaloosa, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Michelle Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Peters; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Gordon; and her brother, George Gordon.Survivors include her daughter, Carol Robin DeHart; son, Herbert L. Butler; sister, Amorita Gordon; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.Gean enjoyed fishing, listening to Big Band and Jazz music.
