HENDERSON, O. Wayne 90, of Clearwater, passed away Aug. 25, 2010. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the US Army Corp of Engineers with service in WWII & Korea. He organized the first JROTC unit at Hobart (Indiana) High School (first girls accredited). He was Past President of Island Estates Civic Assoc., Sertoma Club, Military Officers of World Wars and Military Officers Assoc. of America and he was a member of the American Legion and Elks club. He is survived by his wife, Irene of 40 years; a son Neil (Glenda); a daughter, Karen and 3 grandchildren. Graveside with military honors will be Tuesday, Sept. 21, 10 am, Arlington Nat'l Cemetery. www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
