Loving father of Susan Hamilton of Sudbury, Tim Russell (wife Lillian) of Estaire and Robin Russell of Hamilton. Cherished grandfather of Katie Hamilton, Dana Hamilton and Olivia Rosenfeld. Dear son of Norman and Rosa (Prince) Russell, predeceased. Dear brother of Elise Toner of Sudbury and the late Rosie Vanasse, George Ernest and Allan Russell all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Mattawa and married Mamie (McKnight) in 1947 in Markstay. Norman came to the Sudbury area at the age of 6. In younger years he enjoyed hunting and spending time at his hobby farm on Grassy Lake Road. He was an avid reader. Norman had worked at INCO for 31 years retiring in 1976. He will be remembered as a very honest and fair person who lived his life according to the Golden Rule. Norman was devoted to his loving family. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Tuesday, May 9th, 2006 at 3:00p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
