Norma Jean Townsend, 75, of Palm Beach Gardens died Friday, April 24 at her home. She was born in Muncie, Ind. Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Byrd of Pace, Fla., Marla Barton of Palm Springs and Kimberly Cornwell of Palm Beach Gardens; a sister and brother, Shirley Shott and Larry Werts, both of Orlando; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at noon Wednesday, April 29 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter. Pastor David Miller will officiate. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 11 a.m., until service time on Wednesday.
