JOHNSON, NORMA JEAN, 67, of Gainesville, GA, passed away Monday, September 12, 2005. Born in Jefferson County, KY, Ms. Johnson was a native of Louisville, born to the late Everett J. Higdon and Naomie Stump Higdon. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Smith; sons, Perry Smith and Keith Smith; five grandchildren, Kathryn, Chris, Pamela, Jennifer and Elaina; and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Robertson and Bernice Ashwell; and brother, Ronald Higdon. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005, at Broadway Baptist Chapel, 4000 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, with the Reverend Ronald Higdon officiating.
