JOHNSON, Nikki Jean Colleen Nikki came to the world on April 28, 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta. She lived in several towns including Drayton Valley, but loved the paths and forests in Red Deer where she lived when she left us. She chose Debbie and Nolan as her parents. She was supported by many aunts and uncles and loved by grandparents, Glen and Veldis Johnson, Jean Jones and Stanley Anderson. She shared her short life with cousin Daryl Knapp who passed away with Nikki on June 11, 2005. Nikki believed that our purpose is to be "What we are". She taught that we should choose love over fear. She healed with her touch, generosity and tolerance as well as her gifts of art and design. In keeping with her spirit, memorial donations may be made to a homeless shelter the People's Place, Central Alberta Housing Society, 6002 - 54 Ave, Red Deer, AB, T4N 4M8. A Celebration of Nikki's life will be held in conjunction with her cousin Daryl Knapp's Memorial Service at the Drayton Valley United Church, 5029-48 Street, Drayton Valley on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Following the church service, celebrations will continue at the Drayton Valley Legion, 5204 - 51 Ave., Drayton Valley. Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 - 91 St., 450-0101. Condolences: www.serenity.ca Your Community Owned Not For Profit Society
