Hartselle<!-- Nettie Lee Thompson -->Funeral service for Nettie Lee Thompson, 90, of Hartselle will be Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.Mrs. Thompson, who died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Morgan County to Charles Howard Halbrooks and Carrie McClellan Couey Halbrooks. She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Her husband, Thomas Thompson, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, John T. Thompson, and his wife, Judy, of Hartselle; one daughter, Carrie King, and her husband, Bobby, of Hartselle; three grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers are James Hardin, John Hardin, Todd Thompson, Larry Ealy, Chad Halbrooks and Frank Thompson.
