Nell Phillips Johnson, 94, of Homewood Residence in Greenville, formerly of Chester, died Feb. 4, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Rev. R.O. Johnson, of Chester, and was the daughter of James B. and Sallie M. Phillips, of Gaffney. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Nancy Johnson; and three granddaughters, Laura Caroline, Sarah and Allison Johnson, all of Greenville; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, in Greenville. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the sanctuary of Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2310 Augusta Road in Greenville, with the Rev. Steve Vance and the Rev. Curtis Marshall conducting the service. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney.
