Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chester County, TN.Mrs. Anderson died August 1, 2014 at NHC in Milan, TN.She was born in Red Bay, AL, daughter of the late Goodman and Carolyn Kent Sides. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Diamond Grove Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Anderson in 2008; three children, Sue Ross, Lois Knapp and Bobby Mayfield.Mrs. Anderson leaves six daughters, Betty (Dan) Nix and Dean Sanders of Selmer, TN, Shirley (Pleas) Rosamond of Kosciusko, MS, Brenda Anderson of Jackson, TN, Tina (Randy) Gilbreth of Bruceton, TN and Christy (Chris) Parker of Henderson, TN; two sons, Jimmy (Cathy) Mayfield of Medina, TN and Curtis (Mary) Anderson of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Irene Rogers of Guntown, MS and Faye Hendrix of Alamo, TN; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.The family wants to thank all the staff of NHC Health Care in Milan, TN.Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today, Sunday at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, (731) 424-2424.
