KELLY, Neil Crawford Neil was born on December 28, 1931 in Edmonton, Alberta and passed away on November 12, 2012 in Vernon, BC at the age of 80.Neil will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anne, to whom he was married for 40 years; one brother Jim (Carolyn) Kelly; two daughters, Janet (Ernie) Byl and Susan (Keith) Talbot; six stepchildren, Steve (Christine) Dick, Michael (Shelley) Dick, David (deceased) Hannifer Dick, Paul Dick, Susan Dick, and Sheila (David) Leadbetter; fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.Neil attended school in Edmonton, moved to St. Albert, AB in late 1960, and to Parker Cove near Vernon, BC in 1991 when he and Anne retired. Neil spent his final months at Polson Special where he was loved for his gentle manner and spontaneous smile. Following a happy morning and a Remembrance Day Service, he bowed his head after suffering a massive stroke.A Celebration of Neil's Life will take place in St. Albert United Church, 20 Green Grove Drive at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. A previous Celebration of Life was held in Parker Cove. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to donate to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 300-828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E2 or to your favourite charity.
