Naomi W. Andersonof BinghamtonNaomi W. Anderson, 90, of Binghamton, died Tuesday morning, July 4, 2006, at the James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her sisters, Venie Ree Jones and Isabelle Foushee. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, W. Brad and Diana Anderson, Whitney Pt.; a grandson, Kori L. and Shane Anderson, Maryland; a great-grandson, Xavier Anderson; very dear friend, Cathy Burbank. Naomi was a member of Trinity AME Zion Church, Binghamton, where she was a Deaconess, former trustee and member of the Lay Council. She was a retired employee of the IBM Corporation; member of W.H., and O.M. Society; former member of the Sanctuary Choir, and member of Church Women United.Funeral services will be held at Trinity AME Zion Church, 203 Oak Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 11 a.m. Rev. Lawrence A. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the Church Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Naomi may be made to Trinity AME Zion Church Memorial Fund or any charitable organization.
