(nee Smith) Passed away quietly, Friday evening, September 21, 2001 at Island Lodge on Porter's Island, in Ottawa, in her 90th year. Beloved widow of the late Dr. Hardy Parker of Sydney, NS. Loving mother of Ian (Wendy Baldwin) and dear grandmother of Nicholas, all of Ottawa. Loving sister-in-law of Ruth Smith of Sydney, NS. Born in Glace Bay, NS, she was the eldest daughter of Neil and Minnie Smith of Cape Breton. She was predeceased by her sisters Gwyneth, Arabel and brothers Ian and Alastair. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Island Lodge and to friend and caregiver Margaret Lawrence.
