Nancy E. (Carter) Patterson, 87, of Medway, died, Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Franklin. She was the beloved wife of Francis J. Patterson who died in 2005. Born in Buffalo, New York on May 11, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Ellen (Troman) Carter. Mrs. Patterson was raised in Buffalo and resided there until moving to Medway many years ago. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Patterson enjoyed gardening, sewing and trips to Cape Cod with her family. She also loved playing cards and bowling. Mrs. Patterson was the loving mother of Kevin W. Patterson of Medway and Diane L. Clancy and her husband Edward of Medway. She was the sister of the late Jack and Bill Carter. Graveside services will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to American Caner Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
